Service identity

Harvest Ledger Sourcing: the buyer brief comes first

We are an independent sourcing partner for agricultural business buyers. Our role is to organize product requirements, seek factory quotations and make unresolved procurement questions visible before an offer is accepted.

Scope → comparison

A written record of what is being bought

The service name refers to the procurement record, not a manufacturing heritage. We do not claim an owned factory, authorized dealership, audited supplier network or an installed customer base. Supplier documents and model-specific terms must establish what a particular offer includes.

For boom spraying equipment, that record starts with crop use, capacity, working width, pressure, flow and carrier interface. A buyer can leave a choice unresolved: separating a required feature from a preferred feature makes it easier to ask a factory for a clear response.

The record keeps three responsibilities distinct

01Buyer operating brief
02Supplier offered scope
03Written acceptance basis

The numbers identify review stages, not company performance. Specifications, chemical compatibility, installation and applicable US destination requirements remain product and project questions. We cannot infer them from a category name or a manufacturer's public brochure.

Who needs to resolve each decision?

These cards describe procurement roles, not named staff or fictitious biographies.

Buyer operations contact

Provides field conditions, carrier information, expected usage, quantity and seasonal need. Confirms who can assess installation and operating suitability on site.

Sourcing coordinator

Organizes questions and supplier replies into a comparable scope. Keeps assumptions, deviations and outstanding documents visible for the buyer.

Supplier technical contact

Identifies the proposed model and explains pump, nozzle, materials, controls and spare parts. Statements must attach to that offer rather than a broad product family.

Decision history for each requirement

  1. Brief recorded

Capacity, quantity and destination establish the comparison basis.

  2. Differences identified

Keep substitutions and excluded equipment outside the baseline offer.

  3. Conditions agreed

Document sample, inspection, packing and commercial acceptance terms.

Budget and supplier preference can guide the comparison without creating a verified rating. There is no promised saving: total cost depends on scope, freight, duties and the support actually purchased. Read how the sourcing steps work or review product inquiry options.

Put your buying priorities into the record

Share what is essential, what is optional and which questions need a supplier answer. We will use that distinction to organize the procurement conversation.
